Curved Staircase

Built for a prominent Sydney city building for the main entry and foyer. A sweeping curving balustrade and stair case built from the ground floor to the first level.

The stair case walls, treads and risers were fabricated out of plate mild steel and the balustrade out of stainless steel pipe polished to a No. 4 Satin finish. Critical to the design was ensuring that the rolled handrail followed the line of the stair walls which were also rolled.

Painted on-site a gloss flame red to set it off.
